It’s really easy to damage a rug when the wrong area rug cleaning technique is not followed. First class cleaning has the experience to understand exactly how to wash your area rugs properly.
Area rugs may be quite different from other flooring because they are usually composed of different types of fabric and are sometimes woven differently. They may be pricier than the classic wall to wall carpeting found in homes. Most of the time oriental rugs are the centerpiece of a room.
Area rugs are frequently walked on, and they will get quite soiled after some time of use. There is no harm in that – rugs are supposed to be used. When the area rug begins to get soiled or unappealing, the eyes of guests and visitors will likely end up concentrating on the griminess of the area rug instead of the overall elegance and aesthetic characteristics of the room in general. This really is unfortunate because it shows that no matter how splendid a room is, it will invariably be analyzed by the cleanliness of the area / oriental rug.

Belmar Leather Rug Cleaning and Animal Skin Rugs
For leather and animal skin rugs we engage in a special dry cleaning. It’s important not to wet it due to the reason that the leather will break and become damaged. We dry clean the leather in a special tumbling machine with a special powder. The powder is filled with a solvent which makes all the dirt come out and make the leather fluffy and shiny. We work with a chip of wood that scrubs the leather and gets it clean and shiny. We dust the leather in addition to dry it. After drying it we do a special brush to make it fluffy.
Antique Rug Cleaning Belmar NJ
Antique Rugs are likely to be created with vegetable dye. We work with low PH wash down to make sure the dye won’t bleed. Low PH protects the area rug in the process of cleaning. Antique rug cleaning is done by hand, and with very soft hair brushes. We don’t want to put any equipment on top of an antique rug. The concept is to use plenty of shampoo and water for rinsing. After cleaning, the dry-out process is fast, allowing the oriental rug to become soft along with the hue vibrant.

For shag and white rugs, the most significant stage would be to eliminate the dust from the inside of the rug using a tumbling machine without water. There is a movement inside the machine and the dust goes into the dust collector. It’s important to wash with a low PH to minimize the risk of from browning.
Tufted Rug Cleaning Belmar, Monmouth County
A Tufted area rug is generally constructed in India and china. In our own viewpoint, they are utilizing a horrible glue. The glue results in the area rug smelling burn. When the carpet gets subjected to sun or ages, the adhesive becomes drier and becomes a white powder. In cases like this, we heavily recommend take off the backing as well as adhesive. We switch it with a brand new glue and backing support that’s green. For Tufted rugs we offer a surface cleanse with a steam machine, 600 PSI of injecting steam into the fabric-based and then vacuuming it. We then utilize a high PH detergent.

Belmar Area Rugs Cleaning Tips
How to Care for your Oriental Rug
[wc_box color=”inverse” text_align=”left”]
Rotation – To insure even wear, your rug should be rotated once a year. Depending on the traffic, the rotation may vary from six months to two years.
Vacuuming – Oriental rugs, like most carpeting, should be vacuumed on a regular basis to remove dirt and and bring life to fibers. Be sure not to vacuum the fringe with your beater bar! Use the end of a vacuum hose from a canister vacuum.
Padding – A quality pad used beneath your rug helps protect it from dirt, wear, and slippage.
Spot and Spill Procedures – Be sure that you safely and right away clean up spots and spills before they set.
1. First, absorb the excess liquid by blotting using a clean absorbent material. Don’t brush or rub the stain.
2. Then spot-clean with a mild detergent-white vinegar-water solution. Never over wet.
3. Rinse area thoroughly with water and a small amount of vinegar. Avoid wetting the rug’s backing.
4. Blot dry until most of the moisture is absorbed.
5. Let it air dry. A fan or cool hair dryer can be used to hasten the drying process.
