Cleaning Area Rug Cleaning Fair Lawn

Cleaning Silk Rugs In Fair Lawn

Silk Rugs must be dry cleaned as they are crafted from vegetable dye. In order to make sure the feel of the silk will stay soft and shiny. On top of that, it’s important the brushing of the silk rug is only in one direction therefore the design stays sharp and keeps the area rug vibrant and shiny. Silk area rug usually are made in China, Turkey, Iran, and India. Some oriental rug are constructed from artificial silk using tiny fabric material to look like a silk area rug.

Fair Lawn Leather Rug Cleaning and Animal Skin Area rugs

For natural leather and animal skin area rugs we complete a special dry cleaning. It’s important not to wet it because the leather will crack and get damaged. We dry clean the leather in a special tumbling machine with a special powder. The powder is filled with a solvent that makes all the dirt come out making the leather cosy and shiny. We work with a chip of wood that cleans the leather and makes it shiny and clean. We dust the leather as well as dry it. After drying it we do a unique brush to get it fluffy.

Antique Rug Cleaning Fair Lawn NJ

Antique Rugs are usually created with vegetable dye. We work with lower PH products to ensure the color will not bleed. Low PH safe guards the rug while cleaning. Antique rug cleaning is done by hand, with gentle brushes. We don’t want to put any equipment over an antique rug. The concept is to use a lot of shampoo and water for rinsing. Following cleaning, the drying out process is fast, allowing the oriental rug to become soft as well as the colors radiant.

New Rugs Cleaning Service Fair Lawn NJ

Brand new Oriental rugs, Chinese Rugs, and Chemical like Dye Rugs are washed with a higher PH so colors stay deep and shiny, and the carpet gets clean.

Fair Lawn Shag and White Rugs Cleaning

For shag and white rugs, the most important part is to remove the dust from inside of the rug using a tumbling machine without water. There is a movement inside the machine and the dust enters into the dust collector. It’s crucial that you wash with a low PH to prevent from browning.

Tufted Rug Cleaning Fair Lawn, Bergen County

A Tufted oriental rug is generally manufactured in India and china. In our own viewpoint, they are utilizing a terrible adhesive. The glue results in the rug smell of burn. When the carpet gets exposed to sun or ages, the glue gets dry and becomes a white powder. In this situation, we heavily suggest removing the backing as well as glue. We switch it with a brand new adhesive and backing support which is green. For Tufted rugs we offer a surface wash using a steam machine, 600 PSI of injecting steam within the fabric then vacuuming it. Then we use a high PH cleaning agent.

Needle Point and End Stitch Rug Cleaning Fair Lawn, Northern NJ

When cleaning needle point and end stitch area rugs, we wash the area rug with water and soap. The most necessary strategy is right after the cleaning to block it to make it square yet again.

We perform a hand wash with a very gentle brush for tapestries. We call it wash and rinse.

Rugs Antique Wash Fair Lawn NJ

Cleaning Silk, Leather, Antique Area Rug Cleaning Fair LawnThe antique rug wash turns a new rug into one that looks similar to a high-priced, very old rug. The brightest colors may be modified to smooth pastels through oxidation.

The texture becomes softer, and the overall feel is of a museum rug.

  • Heavy vintage wash bleaches the color towards maximum.

9 Steps Area Rug Cleaning Fair Lawn NJ 07410

Step 1: Pre-Inspection and Pick Up in Fair Lawn
We will determine as much as we possibly can about the type of rug and built in qualities that could affect cleaning methods. We will define the expected outcomes and procedure “prescription”. We will come to your house to pick up your rug.

Step 2: Dry Soil Removal – Dusting
Woven rugs, particularly hand knotted rugs, are designed to conceal dry soil. A few years ago, the Eureka company was responsible for a report and found that a 9 x 12 could hide 87 pounds of dirt! WOW! We utilize a variety of strategies to “dust” the rugs from the front and back. A piece of equipment called a pile lifter, special vacuum attachments, and a number of other methods are executed. This is the most important step in cleaning any fabric. We now have three types of dusting machines. 1. Tumbling, 2.Beater, which beats on the back of the carpet, 3. Hand made beater.

Step 3: Pre-Condition
Preconditioning is used to break down traffic area soil and common areas as well as to prepare your oriental rug for maximum soil elimination. First Class Rug Cleaning uses SPECIAL cleaning products. These products don’t have perfumes, VOC’s, chemicals, phosphates, or any hazardous products. They are biodegradable and ecologically safe. The pre-conditioner is usually deep scrubbed into the face pile.

Step 4: Pre-Spot and Fringe Preparation
Any spots and fringe will be pre-treated by way of unique solutions to increase chances of removal. Cotton backing and fringe contains natural lignin dye in it. This brown dye can bleed out during the rug cleaning and drying procedure. The fringe is typically pre-treated for maximum soil elimination.

Step 5: Soaking, Rinse or Wash
Soaking is one of the most important procedures a rug may undergo. By immersing the oriental rug, we can remove dirt, pet stains, and fluid stains. Based on type of oriental rug, it is rinsed with removal equipment on both sides or washed in a wash pit developed for Oriental Rugs.

Step 6: Shampoo
Most carpets are washed with an Oriental Rug Shampoo that’s especially made for getting optimum cleansing. This method is done after washing and rinsing the area rug. It gets the design sharper and removes the loose wool from the rug.

Step 7: Speed Dry
When the soil is rinsed away, the rug is dried flat or hung to dry in a controlled environment. Effective drying is crucial to refrain from unnatural shrinkage.

Step 8: Finishing
When the oriental rug is dry, it will be combed and finished with soft groomers designed for specialty rugs.

Step 9: Post Inspection and Delivery
Our cleaning specialist will provide the rug a final inspection and release it for delivery. Your rug is going to be wrapped in brown craft paper to shield it from dust and environmental soils until it can be delivered. Upon delivery, we will position the rug for you.[wc_divider style=”solid” line=”single” margin_top=”” margin_bottom=””]

Fair Lawn Area Rugs Cleaning Tips

How to maintain your Oriental Rug

[wc_box color=”inverse” text_align=”left”] Rotation ” To insure even wear, your rug should be rotated once a year. Depending on the traffic, the rotation can vary from six months to two years.
Vacuuming ” Oriental rugs, like carpeting, should be vacuumed on a regular basis to remove grime and restore life to the fibers. Be sure to not vacuum the fringe using your beater bar! Use the end of a vacuum hose from a canister vacuum.
Padding ” A quality pad used beneath your rug helps protect it from dirt, wear, and slippage.
Spot and Spill Procedures ” Be sure that you safely and right away cleanse spots and spills before they set.
1. First, soak up the excess liquid by blotting using a clean absorbent material. Do not brush or rub the stain.
2. Then spot-clean with a mild detergent-white vinegar-water solution. Do not over wet.
3. Rinse area thoroughly with water plus a small amount of vinegar. Refrain from wetting the rug’s backing.
4. Blot dry until the majority of the moisture is absorbed.
5. Allow to air dry. A fan or cool hair dryer can be used to hasten the drying process.
For spots that don’t come out using these remedies, please contact us.[/wc_box]

History of Fair Lawn Twp, New Jersey:

Fair Lawn is a borough in Bergen County, New Jersey, United States, and a suburban municipality in the New York City Metropolitan Area.

As of the 2010 United States Census, the borough’s population was 32,457, reflecting an increase of 820 (+2.6%) from the 31,637 counted in the 2000 Census, which had in turn increased by 1,089 (+3.6%) from the 30,548 counted in the 1990 Census.

Fair Lawn was incorporated as a borough by an act of the New Jersey Legislature on March 6, 1924, as “Fairlawn,” from portions of Saddle River Township. The name was taken from Fairlawn, David Acker’s estate home, that was built in 1865 and later became the Fair Lawn Municipal Building. In 1933, the official spelling of the borough’s name was split into its present two-word form as “Fair Lawn” Borough.

Radburn, one of the first planned communities in the United States, is an unincorporated community located within Fair Lawn and was founded in 1929 as “a town for the motor age.” Fair Lawn is home to a large number of commuters to New York City, to which it is connected by train from two railroad stations on New Jersey Transit’s Bergen County Line, the Radburn and Broadway stations.

Fair Lawn’s motto is “A great place to visit and a better place to live.” Fair Lawn has been rated as one of the top 10 best places to live in New Jersey. According to Nerdwallet, Fair Lawn witnessed a 5.3% increase in its working-age population between 2009 and 2011.
