Silk Oriental rug should be dry cleaned due to the fact that they are made using vegetable dye. In order to ensure that the feel of the silk will stay soft and shiny. In addition, it’s important the brushing of the silk rug is only in one direction so the design stays sharp and keeps the rug vibrant and glossy. Silk area rug generally are made in China, iran, turkey and india. Some rugs are made from artificial silk using micro fabric material to look like a silk oriental rug.

Millstone Leather Rug Cleaning and Animal Skin Area rugs

For natural leather and animal skin rugs we complete a special dry cleaning. It’s vital to not wet it due to the reason that the leather will break and start to get damaged. First class floor cleaning dry clean the leather inside a special tumbling machine using a special powder. The powder contains a solvent which makes the dirt come out and make the leather cosy and shiny. We work with a chip of wood that scrubs the leather and makes it clean and shiny. We dust the leather along with dry it. After drying it we perform a special brush to get it fluffy.

Antique Rug Cleaning Millstone NJ

Antique Rugs are likely to be made out of vegetable dye. We utilize lower PH shampoo to make sure the dye will not bleed. Low PH protects the rug in the process of cleaning. Antique rug cleaning is done manually, with gentle brushes. We don’t want to put any equipment on top of an antique area rug. The idea is to apply plenty of shampoo and water for rinsing. Following cleaning, the dry-out process is fast, allowing the rug to be soft along with the hue radiant.

New Rugs Cleaning Millstone NJ

Brand new Rugs, Chinese Rugs, and Chemical Dye Rugs are washed with a high PH so colors stay deep and glossy, and the carpet gets clean.

For shag and white rugs, the most crucial part would be to remove the dust from inside of the area rug utilizing a tumbling machine without water. There’s a movement inside the machine and the dust enters into the dust collector. It’s crucial that you wash with a low PH to prevent from browning.

Tufted Rug Cleaning Millstone, Somerset County

A Tufted oriental rug is often constructed in China and India. In our own point of view, they’re utilizing a horrible glue. The adhesive results in the rug smell of burn. When the carpet gets subjected to sun or ages, the adhesive becomes drier and turns into a white powder. In this situation, we heavily recommend removing the backing and the glue. We switch it with a brand new glue and backing support that’s green. For Tufted rugs we provide a exterior wash with a steam machine, 600 PSI of injecting steam into the fabric-based then vacuuming it. We utilize a high PH detergent.

When cleaning needle point and end stitch oriental rugs, we wash the rug with water and soap. The most necessary method is right after the cleaning to block it to make it square yet again.

We do a manual wash using a very soft brush for tapestries. We call it wash and rinse.

Millstone Area Rugs Cleaning Tips

How to maintain your Oriental Rug

[wc_box color=”inverse” text_align=”left”] Rotation – To insure even wear, your rug should be rotated once a year. Depending on the traffic, the rotation can vary from six months to two years.
Vacuuming – Oriental rugs, like most carpeting, must be vacuumed regularly to eliminate dust and restore life to fibers. Be certain not to vacuum the fringe using your beater bar! Use the end of a vacuum hose from a canister vacuum.
Padding – A quality pad used beneath your rug helps protect it from dirt, wear, and slippage.
Spot and Spill Procedures – Make sure that you safely and immediately cleanse spots and spills well before they set.
1. First, absorb the excess liquid by blotting using a clean absorbent material. Do not brush or rub the stain.
2. Then spot-clean using a mild detergent-white vinegar-water solution. Do not over saturate.
3. Rinse area thoroughly with water and a small amount of vinegar. Refrain from wetting the rug’s backing.
4. Blot dry until most of the moisture is absorbed.
5. Allow to air dry. A fan or cool hair dryer may be used to hasten the drying process.
For stains that do not come out using these techniques, please call us.[/wc_box]
